We look before we quote

An estimate written from photographs is a starting point, not an answer. Impact damage regularly extends behind the panels, and it is common to find more once the damaged area is stripped.

So we strip and inspect the vehicle before we commit to a figure and a date. You get a full report of what is actually there, and if anything changes during the repair, you hear about it at the time rather than on the invoice.

Repair or replace

Replacing a panel is often quicker and occasionally easier to price, but it is not always the right answer for the vehicle. A properly repaired original panel can be a better outcome than a replacement, particularly on an older car.

We will tell you which it should be and why. If replacing is genuinely the right call, we will say so. If it is not, we will not do it simply because it is the bigger job.

Paint that matches

Colour is the thing people notice, and it is where cheap work shows.

We colour match to your vehicle’s existing finish, which will not be identical to the factory code once a car has a few years of sun on it, and we blend into adjacent panels where the finish requires it. Metallics and pearlescents are the ones that catch people out, and they are exactly the ones we take time over.

Before you get it back

The vehicle is inspected, road-tested where appropriate, and cleaned inside and out. We will walk you round the work when you collect it, and if anything is not right, we would far rather hear it there and then.
